The Catalyst in-person meetings such as site visits and workshops will not be held between now and May. We are currently working with FHFC on specifics and will quickly announce alternatives.

WEBINAR- Helping Homeowners with COVID-19 SHIP Emergency Assistance

Homeowners experiencing reduced hours or unemployment during this emergency period may face mortgage default or foreclosure. Learn about the policy decisions, file documentation and steps involved in providing emergency mortgage payments. Presenters will review key elements of foreclosure counseling and the benefits of contracting with a counseling agency. Participants will learn how to update and activate a SHIP disaster strategy to provide assistance. The training will review the mortgage payments forbearance policy in the CARES Act to help prepare SHIP staff to contact SHIP-assisted homeowners and help them understand their options.
