Cheryl Martin is the Director of Community Services for Marion County, Florida. In this role, she oversees the administration of CDBG, HOME, HOME ARP, ESG, NSP, SHIP, ARPA grant funding, Opioid Settlement Funds, Health and Human Services programs, and the Ocala/Marion Joint Office on Homelessness. With over 15 years of experience serving in local government, Cheryl brings a high level of strategic focus and vision in the affordable housing space. Cheryl also serves as a board member of the Central Florida Community Action Agency and Florida Community Development Association, a liaison for Marion County’s Housing Finance Authority, an advisory member for Florida Housing Coalition, and an advisory member for Truist. Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Business Administration-Management from Saint Leo University, is a graduate of Leadership Ocala Marion, and is a Certified Public Manager from Florida State University. As an Ocala, FL native, Cheryl loves spending time with her family, horses, and the outdoors.
