Training and Technical Assistance on Homelessness

In 2015, Florida had a homeless population of 41,542 people, the third highest of any state.  Dedicated nonprofit, public, and private agencies around the state and nation are working tirelessly to bring this number down to “functional zero,” – meaning that any individual or family who becomes homeless can be rapidly placed in permanent housing, rather than languishing on the street or in shelters for months or years.

As the state’s foremost authority on affordable housing, the Florida Housing Coalition has an important role to play in the push to end homelessness.  This page highlights training and technical assistance resources available to Florida’s affordable housing developers, homeless service providers, and other stakeholders working to end homelessness.
