Government Sites and Information

Community Connections provides publications and information from HUD's Office of Community Planning and Development.

Florida Association of Counties represents all 67 of Florida's counties and provides information by county on tax rates, population and organizational structure.

Florida Department of Community Affairs includes information from the Division of Housing and Community Development.

Florida League of Cities the official organization of the municipalities and chartered counties of Florida, designed and established to meet and serve the needs of Florida's municipal officials.

Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae)

Government Services Direct all about the Sunshine State including links to state agencies.

HUD Home Page contains extensive information on HUD programs, regulations, deadlines, upcoming events. Free Web Access to HUD Documents is available through the Client Information and Policy Service. Also see the state HUD sites: Florida State Coordinator's Office and HUD Jacksonville Area Office.

HUD USER provides publications and information from HUD's Office of Policy Development and Research.

U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Housing Service (USDA/RHS) has various programs available to aid in the development of rural America.

The U.S. Department of Labor's Welfare to Work Web Site contains links to sites for policy discussions and recent news about the implementation of welfare reform at the Federal, State, and local levels.

The White House is the place to find up to date information on all issues facing the nation.
