CAP REPEAL BILL PASSES HOUSE UNANIMOUSLY

HB 665 by Representative Gary Aubuchon passed the House unanimously this afternoon. The bill includes repeal of the cap on the housing trust funds, along with other housing legislation.

Its companion bill, SB 262 by Senator Bennett, is scheduled to be withdrawn from its final committee of reference in the Senate this afternoon. After that action, SB 262 will move to the Senate calendar.

We will be working to get SB 262 on the Senate's Special Order calendar for action next week. When SB 262 is before the full Senate, HB 665 can be substituted for SB 262 and passed by the Senate.
