House Bill 665 by Representative Aubuchon, the omnibus affordable housing bill that repeals the cap on Sadowski trust funds, was reported favorably by unanimous vote of the Full Appropriations Council on Education & Economic Development (Thursday, March 18). After this, the bill has one more committee to clear before floor action (Economic Development & Community Affairs Policy Council).

SB 262 by Senator Bennett, the Senate's companion cap repeal bill, passed its first committee yesterday. It was reported favorably by unanimous vote of the Senate Community Affairs Committee (March 17). After this, the bill has two more committees to clear before floor action (Transportation and Economic Development Appropriations and Rules).
