Cap Repeal Bill Clears First Committee
House Bill 665 by Representative Aubuchon, the omnibus affordable housing bill that repeals the cap on Sadowski trust funds, was reported favorably by unanimous vote of the Military and Local Affairs Policy Committee (Wednesday, March 3). After this, the bill has two more committees to clear (Full Appropriations Council on Education & Economic Development and Economic Development & Community Affairs Policy Council). Senator Bennett is expected to move forward the companion cap repeal bill in the Senate (SB 262).
