Homeward Bound: Policy and Resource Guide for Housing Homeless Floridians

Homeward Bound-2015-Cover

In June 2015, the Florida Housing Coalition, in partnership with the State of Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and the Florida Realtors released the 2015 Homeward Bound: Policy and Resource Guide for Housing Homeless Floridians.  This document gives a historical overview of homeless assistance policy in the U.S. and Florida, examines trends in national and state homeless populations, and describes key policies and programs with a particular focus on empirical research.  Homeward Bound is an ideal introduction to homeless issues for entry-level employees at Continuum of Care lead and member agencies, as well as mainstream affordable housing providers, funders, elected officials, and others with an interest in ending homelessness.
